"Emily is a life saver! The
story goes that the sound system
on location at the church died
out right before the wedding
ceremony began and i was
scheduled to sing at the end of
the speeches. On short
notice, (within the hour!) she
arrived at the chapel to play
for my vocal performance!
Both the wedding party and
myself were extremely gratified
to have had Emily's talent
showcase my voice on that
special day. Keep up the
good work!"

Hi Emily
I would be happy to give you
some feedback concerning
your performance at my son's
wedding.
Firstly, I was very
impressed with your level of
expertise. Not only did
you offer a broad spectrum of
music for us, but you also
showed great versatility and
poise in spite of some delays
we experienced during the
service and the social event
that immediately followed.
You have a very pleasant
personality which fit in well
with the professional way in
which you approach your work.
To even accept a third client
for that day was very
surprising. I did not
expect it considering the very
short notice you had been
given.. What a relief when
you said , "Yes!". Another
relief when you arrived when you
said you would arrive.
Finally, I must say that the way
you dressed and the way
you presented yourself
certainly complimented this very
special occasion.
Thank you so much, Emily.

After we decided on Vancouver as
the place for our wedding, we
picked Emily
Chu to provide the music because
of her repertoire and her
willingness to
learn new music.
Both of us have strong
preferences and Emily did a
beautiful job of blending
our favorites and her
performance at our wedding was
flawless. At our
request, Emily learned and
mastered pieces that she was not
familiar with to
be included with her own
repertoire. This included new
Bach, Chopin and
Brahms pieces as well as the
music of Cuban composer Ignacio
Cervantes in
honor of Marks' birthplace.
Emily learned and really
mastered all of the new pieces
including Cervantes'
Adios a Cuba . Even though the
event went by too quickly, we
still enjoy
Emily's music captured
digitally.

"My husband and I looked at
several options for live music
when planning our wedding and
we're very glad we chose Emily.
She was professional and
personable from the beginning -
I really appreciated her advice
on music selection and the demos
she provided. Her piano
playing was excellent and
created the perfect ambience for
our wedding day. Our
guests commented on how much
they enjoyed the music and they
thought Emily was just
delightful. I would highly
recommend her to anyone planning
a wedding."
