Emily
Chu is a classically-trained
pianist and music teacher based
in Vancouver, BC. She has
studied music with Winfried
Rompf and Edward Parker at the
British Columbia Conservatory of
Music in Burnaby.Emily has
been playing the piano for over
17 years and has been teaching
music for over 10 years. She
holds an ARCT in Piano
Performance from the Royal
Conservatory and is currently
working on an LRSM from the
Associated Board.
She is currently a part-time
performing pianist and would be
willing to travel around British
Columbia, Washington state, and
along the Oregon coast. Please

Aside from her passion for
piano, Emily is also a news
reporter with experience in
print, radio and sports. She is
a recent graduate of Simon
Fraser University in Burnaby
with a degree in Communications.
She hopes to diversify her
talents through television in
the near future and has plans to
travel as a foreign
correspondent through many more
countries. She is currently
living in eastern Washington, while dividing
her time between Canada and the
